Crunch, Elevated Legs

Type: Abs
This crunch is an effective exercise for developing the abs, and is performed by performing a normal crunch with the legs elevated. Elevating the legs & placing the hands to the side of the head makes the exercise slightly harder to perform. Below you'll find a video guide and step by step instructions that describes the correct technique for the crunch, elevated legs exercise.

Crunch, Elevated Legs Steps:

Step 1:
Lie on your back on a gym mat & cross the legs with bent knees

Step 2:
Place the hands to the sides of the head

Step 3:
Flex the hips to raise the feet off the floor

Step 4:
Tense the abdominals and curl the shoulders & chest towards the knees

Step 5:
Ensure the lower back stays in contact with the floor

Step 6:
Lower back down to the beginning

Step 7:
This is one repetition
