Crunch, Straight Leg

This crunch is an effective exercise for developing the abs, and is performed by executing a normal crunch with the legs extended. This position really helps to promote good technique & focus on the abdominals. Crunch, Straight Leg Steps:

Step 1:
Lie on your back on a gym mat with legs straight

Step 2:
Place the hands at the side of the head

Step 3:
Tense the abdominals & curl the shoulders & chest towards the pelvis

Step 4:
Ensure the lower back stays in contact with the mat

Step 5:
Lower back down to the beginning

Step 6:
This is one repetition
