Crunch, Elbow to Knee

This version of the crunch exercise targets the oblique’s and lower abdominals by connecting the elbow of one arm to the opposing knee. It involves several movements so it will also challenge your coordination and core stability. Crunch, Elbow to Knee Steps:

Step 1:
Lie on your back place both hands lightly on the side of the head

Step 2:
Bring one foot up to rest on the opposite bent knee

Step 3:
Crunch up and twist to bring the opposite elbow to meet the raised knee

Step 4:
Return to the start position

Step 5:
This is one repetition

Step 6:
Perform all reps on one side

Step 7:
Repeat for the opposite side to complete the set
