The straight arm plank or bridge is a slight variation of the more common version, the forearm plank. Performing the exercise with straight arms further challenges the core, arms, chest and shoulders to increase the intensity of the exercise by offering less stability.

Plank, Bridge, Straight Arm Steps:
Arrange yourself on the floor in the extended push up position, elbows straight.
|
Ensure your body is evenly distributed by your hands and feet and that your back is straight with neutral spine.

Hold yourself in that position for the desired amount of time or until your form begins to fail.
