Russian Twist, Dumbbell

The Russian twist with dumbbell is an effective exercise for developing the abs, and is performed by rotating the body from side to side with the body in a v position. Using a dumbbell adds more resistance to the movement which makes it more challenging. Russian Twist, Dumbbell Steps:

Step 1:
Sit on a gym mat holding a dumbbell in both hands

Step 2:
Raise the feet off the floor to balance on the buttocks

Step 3:
Hold the dumbbell out in front at waist height

Step 4:
Twist the torso to the left and then to the right whilst maintaining balance

Step 5:
This is one repetition
