V Sit Up, Double Up

The double up v sit up is an effective exercise for developing the abs, and is performed by extending the arms and legs, then crunching up to bring them all together twice. This is a combination crunch exercise consisting of a v-sit and a knee hug crunch. Below you'll find a video guide and step by step instructions that describes the correct technique for the double up v sit up exercise.

V Sit Up, Double Up Steps:

Step 1:
Lie flat on your back on a gym mat, arms straight behind the head

Step 2:
Flex at the hips & bend the knees to raise the legs and torso off the floor

Step 3:
Bring the arms up to meet the knees

Step 4:
Pause at the mid point and then return back to the start position

Step 5:
Legs and arms straight, flex at the hips, raise the legs and torso off the floor

Step 6:
Touch the toes with the hands

Step 7:
Pause at the mid point

Step 8:
Return back to the starting position

Step 9:
This is one repetition
