X Sit Ups

The x sit up is an effective exercise for developing the abs, and is performed by extending the arms and legs, then crunching up to bring them all together. This exercise requires very good balance, coordination and core strength. Below you'll find a video guide and step by step instructions that describes the correct technique for the x sit up exercise.

X Sit Ups Steps:

Step 1:
Lie on your back, legs & arms extended out to the sides in an 'X' position

Step 2:
Crunch the abdominals whilst simultaneously moving the arms & legs in together

Step 3:
The knees, hips, abs and arms should be fully flexed at the mid point of the move

Step 4:
Extend the arms, legs, hips and abs to return back to the start position

Step 5:
This is one repetition
