An alternative to using dumbbells or a barbell, performing cable bicep curls is ideal for beginners. Varying the type of grip or bar can focus the intensity to different areas of the bicep and forearm muscles.

Bicep Curls, Cable, Straight Bar Steps:

Step 1:
Grasp a low cable with a straight bar attachment in both hands.

Step 2:
Fire the biceps hard and flex the elbows to curl the weight upward.

Step 3:
Return to the start position in a slow and controlled fashion.

Step 4:
Repeat for all required reps.
