The Concentration Curl is an effective exercise for strengthening and shaping the biceps. This type of bicep curl focuses on the peak of the biceps and using dumbbells will help isolate the bicep muscle. Concentration Curl, Standing, Alternating Steps:
Standing up straight, grasp a dumbbell in each hand.
|
Bend at the waist and keep your back lordotic.
|
With a neutral grip, fire one bicep hard and flex the elbow to curl the weight across your body.
|
Return to the start position in a slow and controlled fashion.
|
Repeat for the other arm. Repeat for all required reps.
