Top Half Bicep Curl, Dumbbell

The Top Half Dumbbell Curl is an effective exercise for strengthening the biceps. It is an easier exercise than the full bicep curl, but it will still give you a great burn. Below you will find a video tutorial and step by step instructions on how to perform the Top Half Dumbbell Curl.

Top Half Bicep Curl, Dumbbell Steps:

Step 1:
Standing up straight, grasp a dumbbell in each hand.

Step 2:
Fire the biceps hard and flex the elbow to curl the weight toward your chin halfway.

Step 3:
From now on, all reps are performed from this halfway point.

Step 4:
Curl the weight to the top.

Step 5:
Return to the start position.

Step 6:
Repeat for all required reps.
