The tricep drag is an effective exercise for developing the tricep muscles, and is performed by gripping a barbell, keeping the elbows close and extending the arms overhead parallel to the body. Tricep Extension, Barbell Drag Steps:
Lie on your back on a bench with feet firmly on the floor
|
Take hold of a barbell with an overhand grip & position it over the chest
|
Bend the elbows so the barbell is just above the chest
|
Extend the elbows and shoulders simultaneously to push the barbell overhead
|
This is the same move as a shoulder press but in the horizontal position
|
Pause briefly then reverse the movement to start position
|
|
