Bent Over Row

Type: Conditioning
Upper body exercise challenging strength and stability of the back, rear shoulders and biceps.

Bent Over Row Steps:

Step 1:
Choose a resistance band or tubing that will provide adequate resistance for this exercise.

Step 2:
Stand with feet slightly wider than hip distance apart.

Step 3:
Place resistance band or tubing underneath your feet (feet will stand over the middle of the band).

Step 4:
With a flat back and knees slightly bent, bend forward to a 90 degree angle at the hip and grab the resistance band at a length where you feel resistance when arms are fully extended.

Step 5:
Keeping back flat and knees slightly bent at all times, bend at both elbows to bring your fists just below your ribs (elbows pointing up towards the ceiling and 90 degree angle at the hips).

Step 6:
Hold for one second and then return to starting position.

Top Tip:

Maintain a flat back and slightly bent knees at all times throughout the exercise.
