Single Leg Square

Type: Conditioning
Lower body exercise challenging agility, balance and speed using one leg at a time.
Level :  Equipment : No

Single Leg Square Steps:

Step 1:
Mark an "+" on the floor using intersecting vertical and horizontal lines.

Step 2:
Standing in one of the four quadrants of the "+", stand on your right foot (bending the left knee and raising the left foot) and place hands on hips.

Step 3:
Hop in a clockwise direction through all four quadrants of the "+".

Step 4:
Then, using the same leg, hop in a counter-clockwise direction through all four quadrants of the "+".

Step 5:
Repeat this using the left leg.

Top Tip:

Look forward and keep hips level throughout the exercise.
