Depth Jump

Type: Legs
The depth jump is a great exercise for developing reactive power in the legs. It's ideal for improving your vertical jump height so it will benefit players of sports such as basket ball, rugby and volleyball.
Level :  Equipment : Yes
Buttocks
Calves
Core
Hamstrings
Thighs

Depth Jump Steps:

Step 1:
Step up on to a suitable box or platform approximately 18" high.

Step 2:
Step off the top of the box landing on both feet.

Step 3:
As soon as you hit the ground immediately jump up as high as you can.

Step 4:
Repeat for the required number of repetitions.

Top Tip:

To increase the challenge even more, jump off a low box onto the ground and then immediately jump up and land on to a higher box.
