Rabbit Pose

Rabbit Pose Steps:

Step 1:
Start by kneeling on the mat, feet and knees together, sitting back on the heels.

Step 2:
Round forward to reach back and grab both heels with the corresponding hand (thumbs on the outside of the heels as the fingertips reach around to the inside of the heels). Bring the forehead to the knees as the top of the head rests lightly on the ground.

Step 3:
Inhale to prepare.

Step 4:
Exhale to round the spine up towards the ceiling as you straighten the arms to resist the movement of the spine. Draw the heels together as you pull the heels towards the head.

Step 5:
Hold the posture for 5 to 10 breaths and then return to starting position.
