Tree Pose (modified) Steps:

Step 1:
Start in Mountain pose (Tadansana).

Step 2:
Transfer all your weight to the left leg as you bend at the right knee, bring the toes to the inside of the left middle arch and rotate the right knee out to the side.

Step 3:
Bring the hands into heart center as your extend the elbows out to the sides.

Step 4:
Hold the posture for 5 to 10 breaths and then return to starting position.

Step 5:
Repeat the exercise with the weight on the right leg and the left knee rotated out.

Top Tip:

- Strengthens thighs, calves, ankles and spine
- Stretches the groins and inner thighs, chest and shoulders
- Improves sense of balance
