I've been involved in fitness for the last decade, and originally became obsessed with it during high school after realizing that following a specific training regimen could completely transform your body into something that could do unbelievable things.

After high school I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I played Division 1 football and studied exercise science.

After a career-ending injury halted my college football career, I decided to shift my focus to training others, and got my Masters degree in exercise physiology, earned the title of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA, and helped train numerous collegiate football players for the NFL Draft.

I also began fighting professionally and worked my way to an undefeated pro record in MMA, fought in Thailand and helped train numerous pro fighters - including former UFC Lightweight Champion Jens "Lil Evil" Pulver.

In 2010 I founded WorkoutBOX to begin teaching the masses how to get in shape without dumping all their money to in-gym trainers. WorkoutBOX was ranked as one of the top 5 online fitness services in both 2011 and 2012, and my advice has been featured in magazines like Men's Health, Shape, Oxygen, Forbes and others.
